The Winter Warrior is an inner-club regatta held annually on Lady Bird Lake. This 8,000(ish) meter time trial race begins at Redbud Island at the far western end of Lady Bird Lake and finishes at Bird Island at the far eastern end of Lady Bird Lake. Known to local rowers as the “dam-to-dam” row, this annual event has been rescheduled to provide ARC rowers a fun challenge after fall head race season and before winter training starts for the spring sprints.

The Winter Warrior Regatta registration date will be announced in December 2025. Registration should be by boat. Any boat size can race.
