Waller Creek Boathouse

Austin Rowing Club enjoys a contract with the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department to occupy and maintain Waller Creek Boathouse. Opened in 2012, Waller Creek Boathouse features spacious locker rooms, a large exercise/multipurpose room, administrative space and space designated for vendors. The lower bays feature extensive boat storage and a bay dedicated to sport-partner vendors.

Lady Bird Lake

Austin’s Lady Bird Lake provides almost 18,000 meters of protected water between Longhorn Dam and Redbud Island. For a map of the traffic pattern, bridges and navigational hazards, please click here.

For Visiting Teams

ARC can provide your crew with a fun, safe rowing experience in preparation for a successful spring season. With miles of peaceful, motor-boat free waterways, several hotels and restaurants within walking distance of the club, and a warm-weather climate, it’s no wonder Rowing News Magazine voted Austin one of the top-10 places to row in America. For information on dock fees, equipment and launch rental, please contact us or see our visitors page.
